I've tried the Vista SP1, pre-beta, but all it gave me was problems. It is definatelly the fact that a pre-beta is definatelly not the way to go, but I do believe Vista will take the path up soon.

Erm what about that:
Righ Click on HDD partition>Properties>Tools>Defrag

I mean like XP. Where it doesn't take 2 years to defrag, and you can see the red and all that.

What kind of problems were you getting?

IE stops responding out of nowhere, for no good reasons when I try to load a Google Image search, or nay type of image loading, Winamp always stopped working after a single click. Also, WIndows Explorer randomly did the same thing...but it's a pre-beta. When you install that, expect problems.
