motherboard and ram question

actually, i have both the ram and motherboard. the reason i was asking was because i've received two of those motherboards and the first one didn't post and the second one wouldn't even power up. i went to make sure everything was compatible and found the motherboard's memory standard was ddr2 1066, while the ram was ddr2 800. when i finally get this machine working, will the ddr2 800 ram affect my performance too bad?

No, you will hardly notice a difference between DDR2 800 and DDR2 1066 RAM, plus my RAM which is from Corsair, can be OC'ed up to 1066MHz anyway.
