Can I Upgrade This?

I have an HP Pavillion XL866 Desktop PC. It has an Asus A&V-VM mobo and a AMD Athlon 1.1 GHz processor (Socket A). What is best processor I could buy to get the most bang for the buck. Thanks.

Well theres nothin on newegg.com and socket A is also known as Socket 462, hope that helped a smidget with ur search...

well dude i found nothin on tiger direct either, so hate to break it to ya, but the last thing i can think of is either ask someone for a used (or maybe even new) or get a new mobo...

512 MB memory. Not sure of graphics. What kinda info do you need there and I'll check?

I found the xp 3200+ that CompMan suggested is still available, but want to make sure it will work with my mobo.
