Can't see red.

I've got a Dell Dimension 4600,gphx=Radeon 1600. I reformatted Windows for a nice clean slate, and now, I can't see any red. I downloaded/installed DX9, and I've also dled and installed my video card's drivers. Any ideas? Playing games is a pain in the ass when I can't see red.

Uh, maybe you knocked one of the pins on the monitor cable out

yea check that the cable is good and fine, because one time, my cable was damaged and everything was tinted blue

my moniter does that all the time..i just smack my Monitor and it works fine.. and now its starting to not start up with my computer,

BTW im not recommending that u smack ur Monitor...lol

check if all the pins are there. if not get a new cable

could be a short in the monitor wire, try wiggling it around
