Hi guys.
One of my old computers has a problem with its mobo - in that no matter what DVD Burner I put in there, or optical drive for that matter, it locks up when I place a disk in the drive. Not straight away, but at random moments during the reading of the CD.
I was wondering if there are any SATA2 Optical Drives available on the market? That is, not using the IDE Ribbon but sata ports. My mobo was on the first line of SATA motherboards, so I'm lucky. But if these types of optical drives are not available I may need to purchase a new mobo in order to reformat / refurbish my system and sell it.
Thanks in advance
Regards
