hey guys, I'm thinking real hard about selling my comp (see spec) and building a new one. I'm headed off to college next fall. I just don't know if its worth it or not. What do you guys think? The whole reason I started wanting to do this is b/c the one I currently have is a little lacking when playing CoD4. I really like that game and want to spend alot of time playing it, but its difficult when only getting 34 avg fps. >.< so I thinking about trying to sell mine locally for 500$ or so, and building a new comp w/ following parts.

Tell me what you guys think. Should I do it? Think I could sell my current Comp for 500$, or is it too much? Is this a good set-up? All help appreciated!

man i would love for you to buy my Intel Motherboard and Vista Home Premium. they are both still sealed with factory stickers. $200 shipped.

I think it's a fairly good computer. I have never heard of that motherboard before, so you may want to reconsider it.

Doing the 2x2GB ram is a great idea like you did, gives you lots of room for upgrading and a slight speed boost :)

id say good choices and my friend has a mobo from the same company and he says it runs fine and doesnt mess up when overclocking

thats a nice build man. don't see any problems.

yeah i think you can get 500 for that build. maybe 450
