windows live messenger 9 beta?

IS there any news on the ms site because I'm not sure if I trust that one

Is the windows messenger any different then AIM or Yahoo messenger? I've never actually used the windows one since none of my friends use it.

i don't think the beta of version 9 has been released for the public yet..just a small beta testing group right now i think..

Looking at it, it does seem to be the new Beta. David, MS will most likely never release the Betas on their site...never.

i was using beta version 8.5 for a while before the final version came out and i got that from the microsoft site...
