Newb Question - Video card versus onboard video

This computer is about 85% word processing work, 15% play. I'm not into big-time gaming, but like to play occasional online C&C Generals.

I play on another Pentium 4 machine with AGP card now and it does okay, nobody ever complains about me being slow.

I would like to get into some basic video editing at some point in the future, but I know I'll need a new machine before I do that.

Nice pic! And yeah, all you need to do is mess around with the settings in the bios.

ohnoes, You can play CS:S on high with an FX5500. I have one in my old build, which has 512 ram and a 1.3 GHz processor.

because ur computer sounds old (if it carnt play C&C).

depends which C&C he is playing...C&C 3 is a bit more demanding than the old C&C games.
