Hmm, not sure if this will stay here, please leave it here mods, it won't be seen in the general electric section.

So I found my old iPod nano, and damn this thing was scratched. So I went to Ace Hardware, picked up 800, 1000, 1200 grit sand paper. I lapped the iPod, which didn't work as good as my CPU did. Then I tried brasso, and this is what i'm left with:

So does anyone know of anything else to make it really shiny? (Don't even mention toothpaste)

I did the brasso for a little longer, and it looks pretty good, not like new but i'm satisfied.

The highest I can find in my local hardware store is 1200. And they say that's high. If I could find any higher my CPU would be bling bling shiny. And my iPod.

I have a peice of sandpaper wit like no grit at all
its for polishing cars.
if you saw it you wouldnt even think it was sandpaper

That's exactly what he needs. Unless you can buy like a new shell for the ipod or something.
