xbox live lagging issue

well in almost every game i play i lag out. i contacted my ISP about this, and they said they cant help. then i contacted my router support and they told me to change my MTU and i did, but i still lag. what could be the problem?

go to www.speedtest.net and test your speed, tell us what it is

try a different ethernet cable, maybe there is a bad wire in it.
have a friend bring over another xbox and see if its just your xbox.

do you have the 360 or the original?

i have tried a diff cable, and i have the 360. i didnt lag out in the game i just played, so ill see what happens.
