Well, thats what a comment said. It doesn't look like the Crytek 2 engine, but coming from the same company, it must have to be really.

i agree....y would they make a new engine for a new game when they already have one of the most powerful engine to date???

apparently it uses something called the Dunia engine.
My guess is that it's just CryEngine2 with a certain amount of modifications. There would be no point in making a whole new engine, but since the game is different it will also need a modified engine since they probably want to add some new features, as well as try and improve the performance & graphics.

true....that sounds plausible....like in the demo trailer...the wind actually effect like were fire youve set will go....eatern wind...fire is goin east

Yeah, a modified Cryengine 2 would make sense... and I have a feeling it'll perform better too.
