It Came!

Well, as some of you know, I ordered a Q6700, An Intel DG33TL, and a copy of Vista home premium through Intel for a whopping $250!

Well everything came today and I have the quad in my normal rig, and i'm still trying to figure out what to do with the rest. Even if it doesn't get used, $250 for the quad is a great price.

Only downside is now every time I boot or load Media Center I get an error about Digital Cable Something Application. Looking online, it appears to be with DRM, and the only known solution is to reformat. Not looking forward to that if it comes to it...

As a perk with work, I can join a program with Intel. If you earn enough points with said program, you can do their employee purchase program.

Good score on the Q6700, I looked at one when building this pc but the extra $$$ v the gain was not good value imo, now $250 would be more like it.
