New Laptop Problems

I just got a new LG R500 UCBX 1A9 and I'm trying to format it and put Windows XP back on but it says it cant find any hard drives, help anyone? I checked the CDs that came and it has recovery console and stuff and some big LG update on a disc.

Your hard drive may be a Serial ATA hard drive, and if the laptop manufacturer's site does not include drivers for it, you might not be able to install XP on the laptop unfortunatelly.

p.s. my laptop scored 4.8 on it, is that good for a laptop?

4.8 is very good, especially for a laptop. My Desktop scores 4.3

I found some support discs and I think they can help, one of them has a LOT of drivers and the other is a recovery console.
Can I use them to install the SATA HDD from the windows installation?
