well, the main differences seem to be
1st one has 200mhz faster cpu
2nd one has 512mb ram for vid card instead of 256mb

so I'd go with the second one. Though to be honest it doesn't make a big difference, that extra 256mb of vram is something you will most likely only notice at high resolutions.

Do you think both will be able to run Crysis at least decent settings, I doubt the max but higher middle?

Thats what I was thinking. With those resolutions is that he should take advantage of the CPU.

well 200mhz won't make a big difference either.
And we are talking about pretty high resolutions, for example the 1st laptop

said:
Screen 17.1" WUXGA

so 1920x1200

though of course one would want to choose a lower resolution when playing games, since that computer has no chance of running games like crysis at that resolution.

Anyway, either one of those should be able to run crysis on low.

it would proberly play low-medium. i would go for the toshiba satellite ,im useing one now .its a piece of crap now cuz its 3 years old . but its still running

oh and my sister has a asus p series and is giving her a few problems.nothing terrible thoe
