Okay thanks for that info. So maybe Windows Dreamscene would actually be useful in this case to keep the Liquid crystals moving to prevent the Image persistence.

and i've had that "lcd burn in" happen before but its not permanent, and it only happened on my 17 inch lcd which was very crappy. never happened again
