maybe we should have a list of the spammer's IP's and the email address they registered in case there are members who could teach them a lesson ive seen one or two forums do this...

Most of the recent spammers have created emails just for the purpose of spamming so wouldn't use the email address again

there is that, but it may act as a bit of a deterrant.

Edit: Even with this, wouldnt it be possible to somehow trace the IP, and hoping they dont use Proxies find their ISP/Server location?
