Does it have to be a Nvidia chipset? You could always take a took at P35's. and nothing is wrong with Gigabyte boards.

Get the EVGA nVidia 680i LT SLI, it's cheaper, and the board is amazing.

It's when you put two of the same graphics cards together to perform better. It's really useless unless you want to add another card to get a little more life out of an old system.
