Sup all,

I have just got a new motherboard and 2gb of DDR II ram.
My other pc broke so i got it for that.
The prcoessor i have is P4 HT 3.60Ghz, However when i put it together it turns on and nothing.(It turns on as soon as i plug it in and even when i have the front panel connectors on, why does it do that?)

I think it is the processor but want to ask you guys.

Is the processor seated correctly on the motherboard? That was my first problem when building my new system, I didn't set the processor quite right so it wasn't posting. I'm assuming the P4 and mobo are both socket 775? Maybe you don't have all the power supply cables hooked up. There should be 2 that connect to the mobo, a 20-some odd pin connector, and a 4 or 6 pin connector.

Yeah the processor is in correct, and the power supply is fully connected :)
And it is a 775 socket.
