Installing new motherboard and cpu with old hardddrive

Ok sorry I do not know alot about this subject, but what would I need to do to my harddrive to get it to work with a different cpu and motherboard?

Also , how would I hook up multiple harddrives that use a sata cable, would I just hook the other one into the motherboard and would it automatically read it?

you need to reinstall windows.
And I dont really have any experience with sata
