How do i know my operating system i HAVE? I took it to the shop the guy switched it up a lil. By the way what voice recognition software do u recomend?

Uh... when you start the comp it says what you have. Voice recognition, use microsoft's included crap.

You can also right click on My Computer and look in Properties.

or click start and see what it says at up the side if your in 98 or some old crap like winME

Hold down the windows button and press pause/break. It will bring up system properties, that tells you your OS, job done mate
