Yeah, harddrives pretty basic, but I want to get something a little faster than mine. I am hoping to not have to format mine and just add a new one and install vista on it, but my question is, Are the 7200.10s the best? I know those new 7200.11s are out, but not many models, maybe I'll wait just a short time for one of those. D other companies make perpendicular recording drives? Or only seagate? I can only pick out seagate cause of the ".10" or whatever after it. Just need some suggestions.

Western Digital Raptor 150GB 10000RPM SATA 16MB Cache

thats the fastest out atm, its alot faster then the 7200RPM, but they only go upto 150GB, which if your only installing an OS is fine

Raptors are too expensive. And, I heard those 7200.10s can almost keep up with them. What about parrallel recording, is anyone have any expierience with that?
