ok i'm about to buy a 8800gt to replace my 1950xt.
(yes i know about the new 8800gts coming on the 3rd but i'm getting an evga and gonna step up in a month or so)
i've been reading reviews of the 8800gt and people are happy to get 60fps in CoD4 with everything maxed.
this worries me cause i tested it out and i get around 90fps(drops to a min or 45 with tons of explosions going on around me(ie. 3-4 grenades, a couple cars exploding, all in the middle of a smoke grenade party).
why do these numbers seem low to me? all maxed settings with full AAand i'm out performing a 8800gt? not a chance. can someone explain?
