Hello Once Again:

My main purpose for this computer is for digital photography, photoshopping, and needs to be able to play Gears of War.

Computer Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33 Ghz- $169.00

eVGA 680i Mobo LGA 775- $164.00

Vista Home Premium- $66

OCZ Technology GameXStream 700 Watt- $117.88

SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S203B - OEM - $31.99

TOTAL: $1150.45

Is there anything I can replace for a cheaper part but still perform good.

OR

Is there a cheaper configuration to run Gears of War for PC smoothly.

Thank you for your time.

You could look at cheaper motherboards, and you could look at the ATI 3850's as a graphics card. Also cheaper ram.

If you want to get a similar motherboard to what you have up there, but for a cheaper price, this one has a $100 mail in rebate for a total price of only $129:

ABIT IN9 32X-MAX LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2-800 CL 4-4-4-15 ATI CrossFire Certified Dual Channel Kit Retail OCZ2P800R22GK

Again, check the rebate.

I guess I should wait for December because all the rebates end on 11/30 so by the time i receive the products I won't have enough time to send it to the company.
