And you need to be very aware of the sub specs that if needs (air space). What kind of sub are you buying? Odds are good you're going to want a ported box (bigger, but louder)

Alright man how much would it all cost?
Basically I need something that's gona fit a 12 inch, I may be buying a MTx Thunder 6000, It's going to be for my room but I plan on putting it in my car when I get the chance to drive (1 more year and i'll have my learners permit) It will obviously need a port, should I have one with a open port on the top or one of those side tube ports?
It's gona be in my room for like 1 year (for music) and then im's transfer it to my car.
How much do you estimate the whole thing costing?
