My Setup... Good or Bad??

Hahaha... lol @ that PSU. You will need 600W, definitely.

I like the mobo Pyrox suggested though.

Give us a price range and we can build a nice balanced system for you.

he CPU is Socket 478, not LGA775. He will have to upgrade his CPU as well if he wants to upgrade to a better motherboard. Buying a Socket 478 motherboard is out of the question, if your going to upgrade it, get a CPU upgrade as well.

he never listed any intention to upgrade his CPU, so im asuming he doesnt have enough cash for right now, so if you want him to upgrade his mobo, then he will want to upgrade his CPU too. buying a 478 motherboard now is stupid.

Well this is my current setup...
My soon to be setup...

And im probably gonna need a new MB but i have no clue which one to get...
and probably a new processor...
Maybe this oneormaybe this one whats the difference??:D ..
.

and by all means tell me if something is a piece of crap... im a cheap guy.. and i dont like expensive stuff... so point me in the right direction.

IM HOPING FOR SOME DECENT GAMING...

THANKS!...

:)

i guess i must be high on something, i guess i did eat our school lunch, that might be it :p

ok, if you need a new CPU, what kind of price range are you in??

my price range is maybe 50-200$ per component

i really dont wanna go above 150$... but if its something that would really help the speed of my computer or graphics, etc. then i'll consider it

BTW i do plan to get a new processor
maybe one of the two that i suggested.. if there any good

but i dont wanna get a a new Mobo a new Proc and a nice video card... and none of it work together.. (thats y i have u guys:D )

Do yourself a big favour and get a similar build to the one in my sig. Very cheap and that processor easily overclocks to 3.0ghz with that mobo and cooler.

Youlll need to factor in the price of a new graphics card too though...

Nah, don't get that build. Nothing against it, but there are some gaps in it. The PSU is weak, and won't be able to run two GTS's. The Proc is good, but for a bit more money, you can get the e6600. The mobo can not even compare to a 680i.

Get hte one I recommended. If you need somebody to back it up, ask anyone.
