ok, yes it was dry, it did make a beep, it worked fine only it went straight to my linux which is on my slave. i had 2 restart, when i did, it didnt work
i do have thermal paste, thats what the grey stuff is
ok this is to late now but that grey goo you say is heat lub so you dont burn out your processor it also comes in pink and blue also i notice you are not using CDI cables what is your mother board maker? it will say on a chip not on the fan. also when you get a computer you will hae lots of cables hat go nowhere they are for mods/add-ons. i am currently making a dual mother board unit with dual screen monitor for my every day gaming needs i also make websites so to help you out further how many drives do you hae in your computer not including floppy? i will tell you where you cables all go!
