My processor never came with any, do I need it? It is a Pentium 4 HT 630 3.00 Ghz , it runs at around 37-40 C. Also what would be a good clock speed to overclock to, thanks.

You're running normal temps so I wouldn't even worry about it. Might be thermal pads already attached. You're OC ready.

Thanks, it put it all togethr, then decided to check the instructions and it never mentioned it in there, thanks.

it has something on there already, like ISOwner said it could be a pad\pre applied paste.

good luck on the OC too be sure to make sure those temps dont get too high.

Just go as high as you can while watching temperatures and voltages and you will be fine.
