Just got a new computer (HP Pavilion) and im trying out vista and i was wondering what do you guys think of Microsofts new approach.. Looks ALOT like apple, but still same old microsoft

I like it. The Windows look a lot more lively now, the 3-d flip is neat (although I hardly ever use it). The sidebar is great and I have a lot of useful things on there. Much better than XP.

Honestly, I don't think it looks like Mac OSX at all, unless I missed an update or something. I haven't used a Mac since July. I love the sidebar too, I wish I used it sooner.

What are the specs?

how do you do the 3-d flip, ive been wondering it ever since i got it, i have ultimate so i know i have the feature.

Bottom left, looks like one big window with 3 windows in it.

Turn on quick launch on the task bar, it should be there.

400 GB HD
3GB RAM
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor(5600+)
Geforce 6200 Graphics card

I'm not a huge gamer so these specs work fine for me (although i think they are pretty decent xD)
