Virus?

I was looking for a certain .RAR file, and I came across a semisuspicious site. It had the .RAR I was looking for, I open it, it said it was corrupted... I was like Hmmm, I wonder if this is a trick. I don't know if it was the RAR but ever since I tried opening it my computer randomly sometimes just hangs, except that's not the weird thing. It doesn't REALLY hang, my mouse stops working, I can move it around and it will mimic it on the monitor, but i can't click anything, if I try to, it doesn't do anything.

I'm doing a full scan right now with Norton AntiVirus, also, I *can* open menus and taskmanager or do any other shortcuts via KEYBOARD, but my mouse is rendered useless completely.

How do I fix this problem if Norton doesn't find anything?

if the scan doesn't pick anything up, restart the computer and start it up in safe mode then do another scan.
