Just added second HDD, slowing everything downnnnn

ok apparently I'm a idiot lol and tried runnning the HUTIL program from my desktop

I booted it from my BIOS and ran the utility and got one error and one error only which was this...

"Read DMA Error:Command Timeout"

the utility told me to erase the drive so i tried to with the HUTIL utility and got this error

"DRQ Timeou Error"

Does this mean the HDD is junk??

Check the cable to make sure it's seated properly and in good shape then run the test again. If it repeats the same error, it's toast.

Depending on how old the drive is, it can be sent in for replacement under warranty.

Ya man the HDD is toast, tried doing all that got same error, so now i guess im going to try and see if i still have a warrenty on the thing or not
