I want to be able to share my broadband internet connection between my old computer and my new one. I've been reading up about how to do and so far the only thing I've really understood is that you need to join the two computer with an Ethernet cable which is what my current computer is joined to Orange's Livebox thingy with. So the PC that currently connected to the internet is running XP32bit and the new one is running Vista64bit, is this of any importance? Please could someone give me some easy step to step instructions to link the two PCs up. Thanks.

i had the livebox and its crap lol orange is the only ISP that provides a router with only 1 ethernet port.

you need a switch then you,

run a cable from livebox to switch then 2 cables from switch to both computers,

I don't think so. I believe you would also run Vista's ICS wizard much like you would on an XP machine as shown in the tutorial.
