If your not overclocking get the 2X2gig memory. I choose 4X1 because they are better for overclocking and have lower latencies.

2x2 gb for sure. I'm not ready to move onto the 4gb band wagon, as I suspect 2 gigs should still be enough for all these new games..

plus you get higher transfer rates with 2x2gb because its dual channel not quad channel kit.

slower, the bigger the amount of size the sticks are, the looser the timings have to be, hence slower.

also dual channel really doesnt speed things up too much, it just streamlines it.
