Yeah, the graphics card can now handle physics if the developers choose them to do so, making physics cards (something I knew wouldn't catch on) useless.

A physx card is not just a performace boost, it is main an effects boost by providing more realism. Check out cell factor

IMO if you have the money and you play up to date games, get one, its that simple...

comparing the game footage on youtube from none ageia graw play to graw play with ageia is night and day, surely there will be more games coming out as well that support ageia

But with Direct X 10 now here, physics cards won't be needed, since graphics cards can be used. It seems Phyx was more a fill in.
The PS3 I believe has a physics based thingy running in its cores.

ya thats true, i guess it just depends if somebody has the sky as a limit on their budget, i mean if i had the money to deck out my machine i would, but i dont so i stick with the necessities, although i only game with DX9 and a 7800 so a physics card would probably benefit in my occasion...
