hmm....i was always was told that glue gets "hard" because it reacts with the air, hence when its "poured" and left to set, the air acts like the hardener. Thats why glue on the tip of a nozzle will always get hard when its been left, and sometimes glue bottles have a layer of "skin" from where the air in the bottle has caused a small reaction.
