8.32 GHz!!!!!

its for a couple of hours unless someone wants to constantly send me LN =D
its just for seeing how far i can over clock
its not just me its a school project i got goin
couple of me and my friends were going to post our results
plus use it as part of my resume when i get older
hopefully i can get ok donated parts
im hoping core 2 duo 1g ram and any gpu will do

as my college project im designing and (trying) to make a water cooling kit, like machining all the water blocks and stuff which will hopefully keep the temps under load close to 35*c maybe 50*c max but i dont see me trying anything with LN lol :D maybe when im a bit older ;)

what i would love to see is some way to keep liquid nitrogen in the liquid forum
so u could constantly circulate it in an enclosed space

well the only way is to try condense it like with a fridge, the gas is compressed which heats it up, then its condensed, made into a liquid form then it is "flashed" to make it a vapor and its used to cool, then gets circulated back to be compressed and repeat teh whole process. The only way would be to somehow manage to cool down the vapor so that it becomes liquid again - so obviously not an easy task lol

edit: thats the only way I could think of :)

hmmm im sure theres sum way.... or mabey even a better substance to kool with then LN

He's being realistic, thats all. Take a step down to earth.

its alway fun to fly
but i want to see processors hit this mark like they hit the 2.4 GHz mark
and at those temps
and i dont remember saying that i was going to do it............. now did i?
if you can find it in this thread the by all means quote me on it

Well if that brings any interest to you, I have OCed my P4 from 3.00 to 3.86GHz on air, before my BIOS decided to quit.
