Ram in Vista home premium 64bit

Found what was doing it, there was an option in the BIOS called overlay memory mapping or something similar, when i enabled that it started to show all 4GB.

Cheers for the help

a BIOS setting... never even though of that. Thanks for filling us in on what fixed it.

Yeah, this is the reason I bought a 64bit system, so I could run an amount of RAM like this in the future, whats it like with 4gbs? I might buy a 2GB stick or even 2 2gb sticks to add to mine sometime in the future.

with 4GB it runs really well, havent noticed any lag what so ever and i running windows with aero. windows seem to load quicker and i can run all the programs i usually do at once and still have some memory spare. i havent tried it with 2GB so dont really know how it runs with just 2GB
