Unbarable Audio Feeback!!!

OK, this is kind of a seperate issue.

I have my headphones plugged into the front audio jack on my case, not the one going directly to the mobo. I tried plugging it into the mobo and it just dosent work.

There is no connection. And there are no wires to connect so I don't know what the problem is

Any idea how I can get the mobo audio jacks working?

Install sound drivers for your motherboard than set it as the default audio device.

Pg. 2-15 MSI K9N Diamond Users Guide:

IMPORTANT* If you don't want to connect to the front audio header, pins 5 & 6, 9 & 10 have to be jumpered in order to have signal output directed to the rear audio ports. Otherwise, the Line-Out connector on the back panel will not function.


So what does "jumpered" mean?

Ok, Ive tried just leaving the JAUD1 connector completely unplugged and it still wont send audio out to the rear.

I believe Chris was right, it has to be electrical interference around the JAUD1 socket. Now I just want to use the rear and I shouldnt have it anymore.
