HP Personal Media Drive - SPIN DOWN

Hi

I have a HP Pavillion Desktop with Vista Ultimate and I purchased the HP Personal Media Drive which i place into the available slot in the front of the computer. Is there any way that I can set it to spin down when the drive is not in use? I'd rather not pull it out.
