ok so im getting ready to buy my ram...for my laptop it is 140 for 2 2gig sticks now i know it will only show as like 3.5 gigs in 32 bit vista so is it worth buying 4 gigs? or should i just buy one stick and have 3 gigs?

2 gigs is the magic number for xp, and 3 is the magic number for vista.

go with 1 more gig, especially since it is a laptop, becuase they are naturally a bit more of a bottleneck than a pc (for the same frice, a $4000 lappy will out perform a $400 desktop any day)

cool thanks...ill just go with 1 stick them for a total of 3 gigs
