Is it possible to make it so when a video or audio is not 5.1 surround, it will still send the audio to all the speakers?

Because right now it just wont send any sounds to my two rear speakers... It would be nice to have all the speakers with volume work (i know its not ideal for the best Surround Sound experience...)

Thanks!

Yeah, you need to enable Dolby Pro Logic. It should be a setting on either your speakers or your sound card.

I'm not sure how to do that -- my drivers/settings are for Realtek HD Audio... My speakers are 5.1 Logitech

Which speakers do you have? The Z-5500s? If you press the effect button a couple times it should have the Dobly Symbol and say PLII.

They are the X-530 70 watts RMS 5.1 Black Speaker System - OEM. Does that have an effect button?

And if you dont use winamp, I would recommend that, lol.
I have been using DFX for winamp, but its a trial version, I am going to try teh one kage posted now.

if u install Vista u can use the "Speaker fill" setting and it works

i have an x-530 also, and most of the time i just use the standard 2.1 setting, as theres very few things that are in 5.1 that i use
