computer keeps crashing

my computer keeps crashing when i play games or benchmark my idle temp is 70c is that normal ?

whats wrong then ? my 8800gtx has 2 pci-e addapters do i plug 2 power cables in or 1 ?

Perhaps a driver issue, ive just recently had a problem where during my games id get blue screened. I updated all drivers and found my computer would start up but all id get is a black screen, so i deleted all drivers and reinstalled the latest versions. Could you write some more on what is ment by crash, does the game freeze? Do you get a blue screen or what? Alittle more would be nice

yeh the game freezes and makes like a jiggering noise i open my pc and had a look at my card and found somthin very interesting it looks like the connection is damaged would this cause a problem i should assume so ?

Im not that much of a technical person anymore but i would take a guess it may be linked with your problem. Looks like its been cought on the edge just before being pushed into place

your supposed to plug in both pci-e power connectors for that card.

also your cpu temp is too high. restore you OC to the stock settings.
