I wouldn't haul too much weight with that ball just attached to the bumper. If you are going to actually haul things on a trailer, like anything heavier than a jetski, I would invest in a proper frame mounted hitch.

Check the manual to see what the towing capacity is...but my guess would be like 3-5,000lbs for that size truck. Also, nice truck its in pretty good shape too Have fun with it.
