which is better ?

i have a c2d e6750 clocked at 3.2ghz and was thinking of buying a quad core i found a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 1066FSB for £150 which sounds cheap would this be better than my c2d ?

I would keep your c2d for now. I'm guessing your computer is for gaming. I see no reason to change it out now. You are good for some years to come. Use the money for another use

i think its perfect the way it is i would jus wait 6 - 12 months before upgrading as there will probably be something much better out

I went straight from a single core to a quad and haven't regretted it.
Since you already have a dual though thats overclocked rather high, I wouldn't bother yet
