Paritioning

I don't partition, I use seperate pysical drives.

320GB for XP
320GB for Vista
500GB for Data
500GB for Backup

Thats because your a digital pack rat.

I use a 20 GB partition on an 80GB drive for XP. Then I have a 120GB for all my data.

Win2000- 10gig for OS and BF2
Gentoo linux-50Gig for OS/Programs and some storage.
and for main storage i use Win2k and the rest of my 320Gigs

I Just have a partition,make everything alot easier ,Does having ur OS on a differnt partition really improve performance?

I usually user separate discs, but in the event that I had a big disc, like Chris's 320GB disk. I'd partition 30 - 40GB for windows and the rest for data.

I also move the mydocuments folder and desktop (so profile in general) off of the C drive. it makes formatting after major windows problems so much easier.
