I feel like asking. Why not. When I get some cash, maybe I'll buy it.

After some extensive research I found that the Gainward nVidia Geforce 7800GS AGP 8x card was the best. 20 (24?) pixel pipelines, 512MB VRam, it had like 1250 MHz clock speeds and 400 MHz Ramdac and some other stats I've forgotten. What do you all think is the best AGP graphics card?

If you're going to spend that much, just get a new motherboard that has PCI-E because it opens up so much more selections like the world famous 8800gtx, the budget cards like the 8600gts, et cetera.

No, dont do that, waste of money, PCI-E 32x is coming. Wait, and than upgrade the mobo and graphics.

idk, I dont know if it is really 32x, I thought PCI-E 2.0 was 32x but I may be wrong, and if it is 32x, it is already out.

Thats what I thought. I wonder if when the 9 series comes out, and supports that, if you can still plug a pci-e 2 card into a pci-e 1 slot?
