also it wouldnt come close to "blow up" the whole united states. there only lethal within several miles, for a single warhead

it would take probably about 20 wrong doings to make it go off, and at the altitude few locations would have been affected, but radiation poison would have been very bad.

also they cant "accidently" go off, even if it was "dropped" it wouldnt go off.

Just the idea that nukes are being deployed (although not necessarily being used) is a concern. Maybe it was just a simple transport to another facility. From that point on, then where does it go? Only the top secret Omega Sector knows.
