Creating a successful website

Sites like that (and google for example) are valued very high because of the traffic they received but their incomes are vey small im comparison

So basically a website that can generate a high volume of traffic will take notice from advertisers and in turn, will want to do business with you.

As far as unique idea, that's a tough one. There are a lot of copycat Myspace that are doing fairly well. Facebook, MSN Space are some examples. However, I feel there is one area that can really use more competition and that is multimedia sharing---like a YouTube, but offer more services. Have a website similar to Netflix where you can actually download movies to watch, and expand that to carry MP3's too. From that point on, each account can organize their collection anyway they choose. They can trade, share, buy, talk about it, etc., etc.

Well computerforums became successful, I think you need to advertize your site first, have a good domain, when people visit alot you let other companies advertize on your site. That's it. Also donations and fees for certian privelidges.
