New build for next gen gaming -2000-2500$cnd budget

well heres the deal i know a decent amount about computers but with all the new shit that has come out i still have alot to learn so i thought id ask you guys for an idea for a good build.

Im thinking dual sli'ed evga 8800 gts 640mb on a evga 680sli mobo with a good power suply 800-1000 watts probably (not sure how much i need) 2gigs of 800mhz or better ram with a new case(cheap one) and as far as a hard drive and cd drives go im thinking of taking the 250gig from my dell e520 and replacing it with a 80gig hard drive and also take the dvd writer out of it. sell whats left to a friend (it has a dvd drive aswell but i only need the burner) and also going to install my vista premium that came with my e520 on to my new build.

as far as processor goes im thinking c2d e6600 2.4ghz and overclocking it but i dont know much about cooling or overclocking

so what do you guys think of my build? budget is 2000-2500$ canadian and im buying from tigerdirect.ca

if your guys have a better build for me please do tell and id also like to know how to put it all together (im sure i can manage with instructions but if theres anything special i should know about do tell)

I hope to run next gen games such as crysis on max settings

will all this be possible with the budget i have?
im open to ideas for different builds/parts

just use your 250g hard drive from dell
and dvd burner u got
this is around 1500 2
i think i didnt do math
if you still want to spend more just get the second 8800
but i dont think its worth it
id save my money for when the next newest card came out

That's quite a big budget you got there, even for Canadian currency. USD and Canada aren't far off in dollars.

if ur going to spend that much on a pc i would wait until the next level of gpu's and cpu's have come out because their about due!.. if u cant wait that long which is understandable get a good mother board Asus striker Extreme maybe.. 4 gb of 800 Mhz ram and a q6600 cpu.. and a SINGLE 8800GTX.. which will be perfect for playting all the top end games on max settings for the time being and that way u can spend the leftover money on better upgrades a few months down the track when the new line of hardware has been released.. dont go buying a crazy powerful pc now because u will only regret it in a few months time
