I also have 2GB of RAM and let me check my performance monitor.....yup, it also runs more than 1GB. More like 1.06GB to be exact. Still, it's only 50% usage so your system should still be pretty fast. I have the Desktop Manager of course which runs high. iExporer of course uses a lot of RAM allocation. I have the Desktop Sidebar with Google Gadgets running in it, everything from stocks, to news, to weather info. Everything is peachy fast regardless.
