Can anyone help here?
I went to boot my pc this morning, press the button and there is nothing, first i'm thinking is the power supply gone poof? Is there a way of testing the power supply still works?
Any suggestions?

I'm running Vista, P4 2.5, 40gb boot drive, 512kb rdram.

PLEASE HELP!!

you can pull the powersupply, then jump the green [97.8392% sure its green] to a black cable to turn it on. thats how ive hotwired a few old PSUs to work as 120--->12V adapters.

and im guessing you mean 512MB of ram, seeing as 512K is small for L2 caches

It also could be a motherboard problem,You can buy a PSU Tester from your local computer shop or from ebay so you can test your power supply.

just jump start it, and yes im 100% sure its the green wire and ANY black one, it will come on as soon as the 2 contacts touch, so make sure its either not plugged in, has an off switch, or are just like me and dont give a rats ass :D

Yeah just stick one end of a paper clip into the green and the other one into the black. Make sure that it isn't plugged in though... or don't...
